During the event Yulia Beluga opened the contents and value of the first «unwritten» Constitution of England, which laid the foundations of the concept of human rights, the preconditions for the future of democracy and the rule of law in society. The lecturer stressed that Маgna Carta has played an important role in the history of England and of the world, because it is one of the main legal instruments, which gave the right of public representatives to control the king, and certain provisions of the Charter were laid down in the UN Charter, and later in its General Declaration of human rights. Themed events to memorable dates and anniversaries contribute to the consolidation and development of the historical consciousness of the Ukrainian people.
