October 23, 2015 at Educational and Research Institute of Law for students of 4th and 5th year students and senior high school №237 (Kyiv) chief editor of the scientific-practical professional magazine "US law", PhD, Associate Professor, the lawyer Natalia Davydova (USA) held an open lecture on "Higher Education in the United States, Ukraine and the European Union".
A well-known expert in the field of legal regulation of education in the United States, Ukraine and other countries during the event highlighted the issue of institutional autonomy of higher educational institutions on the experience of Europe, Ukraine and the United States, and revealed the problems of academic freedom of professors and students in Ukraine. The positive is that while there was a lively discussion sessions devoted to comparison of the basic principles of higher education in Ukraine and the USA. At the end of the lecture Natalia Davydova told about the prospects of implementation and features of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" with the experience of the US and other European Union countries.
