October 5, 2015 Assistant of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure Training and Research Institute of Legal Svetlana Tsiganiy in a specialized school №114 with profound study of English Obolon district of Kyiv held legal lectures on the theme: "Domestic violence and ways to prevent it: the legislative aspect".

During the classes Svetlana Gypsies revealed the concept of "domestic violence", which is enshrined in Art. 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Domestic Violence", the types of violence: physical, sexual, psychological and economic Mandatory signs of violence, analyzed the powers of the bodies entrusted with the implementation of measures to prevent domestic violence.
In conclusion, the speaker noted that the legislation on the prevention of domestic violence gives people enough opportunities for dealing in organs and institutions for help in a situation of domestic violence, entails the adoption of certain measures to prevent it. However, the legislation on the prevention of family violence will be an effective tool for the protection from domestic violence only when the access to information on the prevention of domestic violence, the fruitful cooperation of NGOs and government bodies and local self-government, as well as to actively counter all of us this is humiliating for human dignity phenomenon.
