On 12th May the students of the first year of studying of the Law Institute together with the senior lecturer of the Department of the History and Theory of State and Law Iryna Tymkovich visited the Government House which is in the street named after a famous Ukrainian statesman and historian Mychailo Grushevskiy.
During the excursion future lawyers learned areas and peculiarities of work of Government Secretariat which exercises organizational, expert and analytical, legal, information, material and technical support of the well co-ordinated work of the Cabinet of Ministries of Ukraine. Requirements to professional and practical and eligibility qualities of governmental officials, advantages and disadvantages of e-document implementation in the work of the Cabinet, its the most effective methods in the realization of the state policy were lively discussed. During the excursion the students learned about the history of the House built in 1937 under the plan of famous architect Ivan Fomin, saw around Great and Small sitting rooms of Government, hall for pressmen, Press-center of the Cabinet of Ministers where press conferences and briefings take place. Visiting of governmental bodies of law by future lawyers stimulate them to get professional knowledge with the aim of successful career making for the welfare of our country.
