April 24, 2015 in the Law Institute held a meeting of the scientific and practical seminar "Criminal legal and procedural regulation of social relations in Ukraine at the present stage".
Active participation in scientific and practical seminar: Irina Sopilko - Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Director of Law Institute of NAU; Michael Colos - candidate of legal sciences, associate professor, assistant professor of criminal justice and legal disciplines Institute of Law named after Malinovsky National University "Ostroh Academy" Honored Lawyer of Ukraine; Ephraim Lashchuk - PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the support of the leadership of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, cooperation with state authorities and internal audit; Boris Leonov - Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Senior Research Fellow of the National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine; Vitaliya Popovych - PhD, Head of Department on national security, defense, law enforcement and crime Chief Scientific Expert Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; Olga Kryshevych - candidate of legal sciences, Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; teachers and students of the Law Institute. The meeting discussed: the legal status of legal opinions of the Supreme Court of Ukraine; problems of criminal liability for planning, training, solutions and conducting an aggressive war; individual legislative initiatives on the criminalization of public incitement to evasion of mobilization in times of crisis; Drugs as subject to fraud; Development of criminal law Ukraine at the present stage; individualization of responsibility for crimes committed through negligence; state and dynamics of juvenile delinquency; criminological problems of countering extremism, youth and others. During the meeting the scientific-practical seminar adopted a resolution and submitted a number of proposals on priority areas of criminal law sciences areas.
