April 16, 2015 at the Law Institute held a scientific-practical seminar "Optimizing the mechanism of regulation of transport of goods on European integration space".
The purpose of the event - to discuss the main issues and identifying promising areas of the system of legal acts regulating the procedure for the carriage of goods. Participation in scientific-practical seminar was: Michail Matselik - Ph.D., professor, head of the economic and legal disciplines of the National University of STS of Ukraine; Ivan Shemelinets - Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of Department of Civil Disciplines of the National University of STS of Ukraine; Vladimir Alyamkin - Ph.D., a lawyer; Svetlana Demidenko - leading specialist scientific department of the State Space Agency of Ukraine; scholars, educators and students of Law Institute. During the seminar discussed the problems of legal regulation mechanism of transport of goods; methodological basis for regulation of private relations; Features of legal regulation of labor relations in the sphere of transport; transportation problems of payment through banks; order pre-trial settlement of disputes under the Charter of railways; the legal basis of technical regulation in the field of rail freight; Features of legal regulation of the contract for delivery in the performance of stock exchange transactions and others. As a result of summing up the scientific-practical seminar the participants concluded that, despite the extensive system of legal acts regulating the transportation of goods, most of them need to update and bring into line with EU requirements.
