On the occasion of the World Day of Aviation and Astronautics, April 12, 2015 the students of PR-305 paid tribute to well-known scientists in the field of aviation and astronautics and laid flowers at the monuments of outstanding scientists, inventors in the field of aviation and rocket S.P. Korolov, V.M. Chelomey, I.V. Sikorsky.
All three pedestals are on the territory of the National Technical University "KPI" and designed by the honored artist, sculptor Nikolai Oliynyk. Pamyatnik in honor of the outstanding designer and scientists working in the field of missile and space rocket technology Sergei Korolova was inaugurated on January 18, 2006 in Kiev and set on the Museum Square Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Plaque in honor of the scientist mechanics, a specialist in the field of dynamics stability of complex oscillatory systems, General Designer of rocket and space technology Vladimir Chelomey was installed on the building of the National Aviation University, and a monument was built in 2011 at the National Technical University KPI. The Monument to the constructor of the first airplanes, helicopters, the student KPI's 1907-1911 Igor Sikorsky was opened in 2008. On the pedestal stamped: Igor Sikorsky "... Hats off to Alma Mater, which prepared me to conquer the sky." Bright advances in the field of aviation and space exploration - a natural result of selfless labor of many thousands of people, tens of labor collectives, which have been doing their best for the progress of aviation and space exploration. We must always remember those who produce Ukraine forever inscribed his name in the history of the world of space and aviation!
