April 14, 2014 at the Law Institute was held Scientific Seminar on "Scientific (doctrinal) trends solving urgent problems of air and space law."
Ongoing scientific event held substantive discussion, which was attended by Irina Sopilko - Director of the Law Institute, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor; Rostislav Kalyuzhny - person responsible for the scientific work YUI NAU, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Theory and History of State and Law; Viktor Nazarov - d. S. ., Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the National University of the State Tax Service of Ukraine; Elena Logvynenko - PhD, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher, State Research Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; Natalya Kirichenko - Program Officer of research and testing of the National Center for Control and Testing of Space Vehicles; Svetlana Prysiazhnyuk - Ph.D., associate professor of Vinnytsia Institute of Economics Ternopil National Economic University; teachers and students of the Law Institute. Workshop participants raised a number of issues and problems that need to be addressed in both the scientific and the legal and practical aspects. For example, discussing the discrepancy requirements of our international agreements in solving problems in the space industry; problems cascading effect of pollution of outer space; the responsibility of states in aerospace activities; need for a compensation fund, which partially decided to problems of pollution of space and so on. After the discussion, participants of scientific-methodical seminar was concluded that the proposals and recommendations were made speakers should be used to further scientific development to address the problems of air and space law in order to improve national legislation of Ukraine, Ukraine's national security, international air and international space law. Especially need to pay attention to the prospects of integrating national legislation to the European Union in order to further improve cooperation and establishing the legal framework to use the airspace of carriage, safety in civil aviation.
