On April 6, 2015 the students of group 106, 203, 301 and 303 of the Law Institute accompanied by the tutor Victoria Zuieva visited the State polytechnic museum which is known to be an independent branch of scientific and research department of NTUU «KPI».
The event took place on the eve of World Space Probe Day with the aim to acquaint students’ youth with expositions of varies areas of air-craft and space technology of Ukraine and the world to be submitted in one of the largest Ukrainian museums. During the excursion students saw air engines, planes and the collection of helicopters’ models of Igor Sikorski, patterns of space technology, food to be eaten by astronauts during the flight, tracksuits, equipment for registration of telemeter information, fragments of heat-resistant covering of “Buran” spaceship. They also were informed about the specific character of astronauts’ trainings on space simulators, peculiarities of the first space walk, the procedure of practicing of routine and emergency situations. The excursion gave students a chance to learn more about the important stages of development of space and aviation, see the unique exhibit and know about the deserved contribution of Ukraine in the development of the world astronautics and aircraft building.
