March, 26, 2015, Valentyna Kozyrieva, professor of the economic law and process’s department of Law Institute with the students of 4th year of studying held a lecture on the topic “The place and social mission of a lawyer in society” in the Kiev Professional Pedagogical College named after A. Makarenko.

During lecture, Valentyna Kozyrieva pointed out that today Ukraine as never before needs qualified lawyers-practitioners, who will properly and faithfully work for the government, in enterprises, institutions, organizations, private firms etc. The judge, the prosecutor and investigator of a public prosecutor's office, lawyer and staff of attorney law firms, notary, lawyer - employee of security agencies (Ministry of Internal Affairs, The Security Service of Ukraine, etc.), counsel, employee of a law firm, a lawyer in the management system, scientist and expert - this is not a full list of groups of occupations of a lawyer with regard to the organizational structures. Despite the differences between notary’s job from the work of the investigator of a public prosecutor's office or police, and as well their differences from the functions of workers of social service, all of them are representatives of lawyer profession.
At the end of the meeting the students told about the scientific life in the Institute, free time and art of the students of university and invited young specialists of the college to study in one of the most prestigious high educational institution of Ukraine to get an educational qualification of "Bachelor".
