March 18, 2015 the students of PR-105 and PR-106 with mentors Victoria Kiryan and Irina Rushak visited the center of sights material and spiritual culture that is associated with the history and traditions of the Cossacks-hetman era - the Museum of Hetmanate.
The Museum of Hetmanate is the unique for today in Ukraine museum institution, whose exhibition is devoted to the history of Ukrainian Cossack statehood and the liberation movement of 1917-1921. The house where the museum is located, according to ancient tradition called "House of Mazepa". This old stone building, typical of the architecture of the Cossacks era, was building during the state power of Ivan Mazepa. The interesting excursion was conducted for students and also presented for viewing iconography of Ukrainian hetmans, Cossack-hetman subjects in the things exhibits, historical literature and personal things of figures. Future lawyers had the opportunity to see the unique library with more than three thousand books from different eras and trends: from heraldry to archeology, from sculpture to numismatics. To freshmen, who study history of the state and law was very interesting to visit the Museum Hetmanate and learn about the history of Cossack-hetman era. The first copy of the Constitution - Constitution of Pylyp Orlik and also interesting household items and sights related to the life of outstanding Hetman Ivan Mazepa and prominent Ukrainian statesman and politician, military leader and the last Hetman of Ukraine - Pavlo Skoropadsky aroused a particular interest among the students.
