On 24 February 2015 the third annual declamatory competition “Saying about Ukraine“ devoted to Day of Conciliarism and the memory of Heroes of Maidan was held in Law Institute. Despite of difficult situation being suffered by our country, the invited school leavers from Kyiv and Boryspil introduced their patriotic speeches with great pleasure. All listeners were amazed by emotionality and sincerity of their declamation.
Capella singing of Anthem of Ukraine by students of group 202 and a moment of silence started the competition. The presenter of this event was the head of students’ union NAU Maria Roshchuk. According to the results of the first round the competent jury headed by Director of Law Institute Iryna Sopilko defined six competitors whose speeches were especially original and unrepeatable. The task of the competitors in the second round was to develop impromptu in their own way the topic proposed by the jury “Ukraine and me: the view in 5 years time’. The audience was surprised by unexpectedly aged views of students concerning this topic both deep and interesting. All participants of this event were awarded by presents, and the competitors of the second round – by letters of commendation in a certain nomination. We hope that carrying out the following patriotic events will become a tradition in Law Institute to promote the development of talents of the future generation.
