In February 18, 2015 Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Process Law Institute Julia Lantsedova with Sophia Likhova the head of department, associate professor Inna Roschina and assistant Svetlana Tsiganiy held for students of 11th grade secondary school I-III stages № 280 (Kyiv) legal lecture on the topic: "The legal profession in the democratization of the society."
When conducting classes in the first place, it was noted that the existing transformation in various spheres of society require new approaches to understanding the law, the formation of the rule of law and civil society, raising the legal culture of citizens, and hence the reappraisal of the role and place of the lawyer in society. After all, knowledge of the law and the ability to use it, including to counter offenses is an important prerequisite for the implementation of many of the functions of the Ukrainian state. After the meeting, the students received answers to questions that have arisen in the process of listening to lecturers and teachers were invited personally to the Open Day of the Law Institute, which will be held in March 14, 2015.
