1st of December 2014 at the Law Institute was organized and hosted a thematic exhibition "The special status of a special partner number one - Ukraine into NATO."
Students were informed that NATO is a military-political union of 28 states, has all the necessary infrastructure and its management bodies. This is an alliance of independent sovereign states, united for the common security and defense of common values. The main purpose of the Alliance is to protect the freedom and security of its members in Europe and North America in accordance with the principles of the UN Charter. NATO's cooperation with Ukraine is of great importance for ensuring peace and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area. Geographically, Ukraine occupies a key position at the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe, has a common border with four NATO countries - Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. The students got acquainted with the scientific and methodological literature methodical study of the Law Institute, covers issues of this problem.
