Eternal glory to the heroes of Ukraine |

On the 4th of December in 2014 the students of the group PR-104 of Law Institute with their tutor Oksana Myronets visited the Eternal Glory Park in Kyiv.The Park of Eternal Glory is the major military necropolis of Ukraine, which immortalized the heroes of the World War II. The students learned that nowadays the park covers the area of 17.59 hectares, vegetation consists of trees and decorative shrubs. The main monument park is the monument on the grave of an Unknown Soldier. The students learned that it was established in 1957, it is the 27-meter obelisk at the foot of which there is the tomb of an Unknown Soldier, on which eternal flame burns. From the Glory square to the monument there is the broad avenue, on both sides of which the 34 graves of soldiers who died fighting for their country are located, including heroes of the battle for Kyiv. Also the students learned that this graves were moved from the remains of soldiers of the Askold's Tomb, the Botanical Gardens, the parks and the streets of the capital.
