November 28, 2014 the students of PR-105 with mentor Victoria Kiryan visited the unique museum complex, created on the basis of Hospital strengthening of the Kiev Fortress - National Historical and Architectural Museum «Kyiv fortress».
Museum «Kyiv Fortress» - is not only a museum of fortification, many of his structures are closely connected with the history of social liberation movements in Ukraine. Garrison of the fortress was actively involved in the revolutionary events in Kyiv at the beginning of the last century, including the famous rebellion in 1907. Students with pleasure visited the museum «Skew caponier», which was originally used for storing weapons and artillery reserves, and in 1863 was adapted for underground political prison, which was famous for brutal regime. Through the casemates Skew caponier were held thousands of prisoners of various nationalities and political views, political parties, religions, social groups, many here were executed. Interesting was the story of the guide about the conditions of life of the prisoners and future lawyers were able to see firsthand the camera prisoners, punishment cells, guardroom, carriage of death row in which prisoners were sent to the execution. Excursions of students to historical places of Ukraine contribute to the study cultural monuments, preservation and popularization of historical and cultural heritage, education of rising generation in the spirit of patriotism and devotion to their independent state - Ukraine, respect for its history, its promotion of national revival and spiritual development.
