On the 25th of November in 2014 the students of the groups PR-104 and PR-301 together with the tutors Oksana Myronets and Iryna Tymkovych visited the monument to Heroes-tanker that were the liberators of the city of Kyiv, which is located on the Victory Avenue in Kyiv.
The tour was held to celebrate the 71 anniversary of the liberation of Kyiv from Nazi invaders on the 6th of November in 1943, and commemorate the heroes who showed courage and valor, fierce fighting with the enemy, that for 778 long days and nights kept the capital of Ukraine in occupation. The monument was opend of the 3rd of November in 1968, it is the 43-meter concrete strip that is the symbol of the front road at the end of which there is T-34, the tail number is 111 of the Third Guards Tank Army, which participated in the liberation of Kyiv. In 1982 the monument was supplemented with the land stelae from the Hero Cities of the Second World War.
