On the occasion of the liberation of Ukraine and Kyiv from German occupation on the 10th of November in 2014 the meeting of the Mediation Center was in the Law Institute. The event was held for the purpose of honoring the memory of soldiers who died in battles for the liberation of Ukraine and the civilian population affected by the actions of the Nazis.
Vasyl Yurchenko (the group PR-202) in his speech "Liberation of Ukraine, heroism and tragedy" (to the day of liberation of Ukraine from fascist invaders that was on the 28th of October in 1944) explored the main stages in the course of military operations on the territory of Ukraine during World War II. The reporter, focusing on human and material losses, said that in Ukraine the fate of the war in Europe was decided. Because in our country many military operations from 1941 till 1944 carried out which ultimately decided the fate of the war. Danylo Usyk (the group PR-303) in the report "The feat that is out of time" (to the day of the liberation of Kyiv on the 6th of November in 1943) analyzed the events of September and October in 1943 at the Bukryn and Lyutizh springboards, and noticed that the liberation of Kyiv became the central event in the battle for Ukraine, and the battle for Kyiv is among those battles that decided the fate of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War. "Our native Kyiv will always remember" said Valeria Moskvina (the group PR-305), and she also admitted that memory of the defenders, liberators of the city of Kyiv was immortalized in monuments of history and culture, has very important role in development of the good and respectful attitude of young people, their readiness to perform their duty for Ukraine.
