October 29, 2014 at the Law Institute was held a scientific-practical round table on " Current issues of legal regulation of aviation and space industry".
During the event were discussed issues of the development of a modern system of civil aviation security of civil aviation in modern terms, the current state and perspectives of development of coordinate-time and navigation support Ukraine, problems of rocketry. Particular attention was paid to the development of scientific and technical cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the field of space activities. During the roundtable was held a discussion, that was attended by: Bronislaw Lapidus - director of the Kiev branch of the National Center for Aerospace Education of Youth named after O.M. Makarov, Merited test engineer of spaceport "Baikonur"; Dmytro Buhayko - Senior Research Fellow of NAU, PhD, Associate Professor; Mykola Kantur - Head of Technical Control State Aviation Enterprise "Ukraine", Honored Worker of Transport of Ukraine; Konstantin Volokh - Deputy Chief of the National Center for Control and test space vehicles; scholars, educators and students of Law Institute. As a result of the roundtable was concluded that at the current stage of development of aviation and space industry of Ukraine should focus on improving the legal regulation of these sectors, foster the implementation of international standards and ICAO documents, as well as expand and deepen regional cooperation in the field of aviation and aerospace.
