In October 2014 the students of PR-204 and PR-302 groups accompanied by their tutors Anna Omelchenko and Yuliya Beluga visited the Open Air Museum “Mamayeva’s Sloboda”, where they saw the life and architecture of Ukrainian villages some centuries ago.
Students had an opportunity to walk in ethnic park which earlier was a third part of Vidradnyi park. At present on the territory of Sloboda there is an ancient lake Krasavytsya with picturesque island in the middle. Also there are many houses in Ukrainian style like in Pyrogovo museum but with one exception: houses in Mamayeva’s Sloboda are open for visitors. You can go in the houses, look around the interior in the folk style, dandle the cradle, view the clay pots. It is a true paradise for lovers of art! Also in October 2014 the students of PR-204 group accompanied by their tutor Anna Omelchenko visited Kyiv Waxwork Museum where they saw a complete collection of the museum located in five rooms. Sixty personages of politicians of past and present time, famous writers, popular actors and musicians, famous athletes were presented to the attention of students. Viewing the exposure was accompanied by interesting excursion during which students learned about the history of the museum.
