On the 22nd of October the meeting “Election process: ways of improvement” was organized and held in Law Institute with the aim to discuss issues of realization of election process. Much attention was paid to positive practical knowledge of election systems of other countries. The ways of adaptation and proximity of election process in Ukraine with other countries were also arisen.
Rostislav Kalyuzhniy – Deputy of Director of the scientific study of Law Institute; Halyna Zelenko – a leading scientific associate of I. Kuras Institute of political and ethnic and national researches of NAS of Ukraine, a secretary of Association of political sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Politics, professor; Roman Shyshka – the head of Department of Economic Law and Process of Law Institute, Doctor of Law, professor; Stepan Honcharuk – the head of Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law of Law Institute, Candidate of Law, professor; Roman Mashukov – the head of Department of Civil Law and Process of Law Institute, Candidate of Law; teaching staff of Department of Theory and History of State and Law and students of the first year of studying of Law Institute were participated in the discussion. During the discussion the participants not only disputed on the problems of public administration by the election process, liability for breach of election law, but also found out factors that have negative influence on democratic development of the domestic election system. Suggestions concerning the ways of improvement of modern election process and public administration in this sphere are considered to be a significant result of the event. It was stated that election process is an important part of structurization of the political system of Ukraine and its development depends greatly on implementation of principles of partnership between state and public.
