The problem of smoking turned into an epidemic and became one of the most common bad habits among young people, that adversely affects the health of not only smokers but also those around them.
To draw students' attention to the problem, October 16-17, 2014 Associate Professor of Civil Law and Procedure Anna Hrabovska held a lecture on "Danger of smoking for young generation" in Kyiv secondary schools № 52 and № 67. The lecture dealt with the reasons for the formation of addiction to smoking cigarettes at a young age, such as: curiosity, adults example, friends, influence of television, movies and more. The lecturer emphasized that systematic absorption of small, non-lethal doses of nicotine is addictive, and cause addiction to smoking. Tobacco smoke delays the solar ultraviolet rays, which are important for a growing child, affects metabolism, impairs the absorption of sugar and destroys vitamins. In conclusion, the high school students watched the film "The truth about smoking". Raising a healthy child, the protection of health in the educational space - that's the main goal of this work is that we have a responsibility to it for our actions, we must ensure the full implementation of health education of students and thus solve the problem of upbringing healthy generation, from which largely depends the intellectual and spiritual potential resource of society.
