On the 2 of October, 2014 at the Law Institute was held a discussion on topic: "Human Rights as the fundamental value of civil society".
The aim of this event was question presentation of human rights that appearing on teaching theoretical and historical subjects and forming ways of civil society at nowadays terms. Participants included: Olexander Tikhomirov – Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine, Associate professor; Borys Malyshev - Dr. of Law, Associate Professor of the theory of State and Law, Law Faculty of Kiev National University of Taras Shevchenko; Yevgeniya Dovzhenko – Associate Professor of Logistics and Transport Law National Transport University Candidate of Law, Associate Professor; Mihail Prokhorenko – Acting Head of the department of legal Provision National University of Defense of Ukraine, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor; Mykola Udod - Associate Professor of Civil Law Disciplines of Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor; Galyna Tymchyk - senior teacher, Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Law Faculty of the Research Higher Educational Institutions of Kyiv National Economic University of Vadym Hetman; scientific and pedagogical workers of Law Institute, NAU. As a result of discussion the participants formed a science-based idea that the foundation for establishment and functioning of legal state is civil society, in which all constitutional human and civil rights must be complied and protected regardless of the situation which has developed in the country.
