Local government – is a basis for the establishment of rule of law
On the 5th of December 2013 in the methodical study of Law Institute Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law organized a thematic exhibition on: "Local government - the basis of the formation rule of law", which was held for the third year students in the framework of the study of subjects "Constitutional Law" and "Administrative Law" and dedicated to the Day of Local Government in Ukraine.
During the event students were the focused to the fact that is articulated in the Constitution of Ukraine paradigm of civil society - is the basis for the harmonization of the interests of all its institutions. Local government is important in the system of civil society and appears, on the one hand, as a factor in stabilizing its relations with the state of law, on the other - as a factor of excitement, intensify political and social activism. Under these conditions, there is a need for further study and a substantial research of local government and civil society as a complex social interactions, which further will help to identify effective instruments of state influence on the processes of transforming Ukraine into a truly democratic state. At the same time, students were able to get acquainted with scientific work and modifications of leading national scholars and teaching staff of the department, concerning the underlined issues and teaching literature and system of legal acts that determine the features of the status of local government as subjects of public administration. The abovementioned promoted the knowledge and perceptions of students about the theoretical and practical aspects of the formation of local self-government in Ukraine.
