On June 29, 2023, an expanded meeting was held at the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law with the participation of stakeholders, one of the issues on the agenda of which was the consideration and analysis of the results of internships by higher education applicants of the first (bachelor's) level and preparation for internships by higher education applicants of the second (master's) level.
Due to the fact that the practice of applicants studying in the specialty 262 "Law Enforcement" has its own specifics and takes place in law enforcement agencies, the head of the department, Sofia Lykhova, was invited to participate in the meeting of stakeholders who provided the practice in the 2022-2023 academic year and will ensure its passage in the 2023-2024 academic year.
"In this academic year, higher education students of the first (bachelor's) level underwent professional practice at the State Institution "Probation Center" and units of the National Police of Ukraine. In the next academic year (from 01.09.2023 to 17.12.2023), applicants for higher education at the second (master's) level will undergo practical training in the field of law enforcement. They are invited to this meeting of the department to listen to what topical issues arise during its passage, as well as to communicate directly with the heads of practice bases—stakeholders," said Sofia Lykhova, chairwoman of the meeting.
The floor was given to managers from practice bases, as well as invited applicants for higher education who have already completed the practice (bachelors) and who will undergo it (masters) in the future.
The bases of practice of the State Institution "Probation Center" and police bodies were: Vaskivskyi Andriy Olehovych, senior investigator on special assignments of the Department of Organization of Work of Inquiry of the Department of Inquiry of the National Police of Ukraine; Klyuch Victoria, Head of the HR Department of the State Institution "Probation Center"; Nuzhna Liudmyla Volodymyrivna, HR specialist of the State Institution "Probation Center" in Kyiv and Kyiv region; Lidiya Dryzhakova, Head of Boryspil District Department No. 1 of the branch of the State Institution "Probation Center" in Kyiv and Kyiv region; Roman Slisarchuk, Head of Shepetivka District Department No. 2 of the branch of the State Institution "Probation Center" in the Khmelnytsky region; Bobrovskyi Viktor Tadislavovych, Head of the Kamyanets-Podilskyi District Department of the State Institution "Probation Center" in the Khmelnytsky region; Shumeyko Dmytro Oleksandrovych, acting Head of the Main Department in Kyiv; Volodymyr Lavryk, Head of the Bucha District Police Department of the State Police in the Kyiv region.
All of them noted that higher education students of the Law Faculty in specialty 262 "Law Enforcement" have established themselves as disciplined and literate persons. The following students were noted for diligence and dedication: Vladyslav Golukh (PR-306B), Vadym Kambir (PR-306B), Victoria Komanetska (PR-406B), and Anastasiia Hryshchuk (PR-406B).
All applicants for higher education timely and at a high level defended their professional practice, and students at the second (master's) level are now preparing to start practical training in the field of law enforcement. Comments and suggestions made at the extended meeting of the department will be used during the review of the EPP "Law Enforcement" of the second (master's) level of higher education.
