On October 13, 2021, the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law in a mixed mode of conducting a scientific and practical seminar on the topic "Legal regulation of the upbringing of orphans and children deprived of parental care in the countries of the European Union."

When discussing the regulation of the upbringing of orphans and children deprived of parental care, special attention is paid to interstate and international adoption, the European experience of family forms of raising children deprived of parental care, the collection of alimony on the basis of a court decision, the legal nature of a family-type orphanage and the peculiarities of providing help to children-refuseniks in the hospital. A lively discussion was aroused by issues of problematic aspects of the introduction of regulation of partnerships in Ukraine and marriage through a representative in the EU, as well as ensuring the protection of the vital interests of minors.
Based on the results of the scientific and practical seminar, the participants determined the prospects for further research on the problems of the institute of foster education, by conducting scientific and practical events with the involvement of practicing lawyers and specialists in the field of legislative initiatives, analyzing existing scientific works, judicial precedents, as well as improving qualifications or internships in Ukraine and beyond.
