April 26, 2019 Student Council of the faculty of Law held a round table, the theme of which is not accidental, because April,26 was 33 years since the man-made disaster and a huge environmental disaster on a global scale at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
Students studied the causes and irreparable consequences of environmental, medical, social and economic nature of the disaster, the course of fatal events at the station, the reaction of the government of the USSR and the world community to the accident. Separately, we focused on the examples of heroism and courage of the participants in the elimination of the man-made Chernobyl disaster.
Also in their reports, students reviewed the largest nuclear accidents in the world, their causes and consequences, pointing out that nuclear power is widely included in the life of mankind, providing the needs of the world economy in the production of electricity.
The event ended with watching thematic films and a minute of silence in honor of the memory of people who lost their lives as a result of nuclear man-made disasters.
