On the 20th of October in 2014 as part of career guidance the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Olena Makeeva and the students of the group PR-401 of the Law Institute with the pupils of the School with advanced study of Ukrainian language number 260 in Kyiv had the meeting in the form of the roundtable on the theme “The ways to form the civil society and the legal state in Ukraine through the eyes of young people”.The event was organized for the pupils of the 10 and 11 classes in the form of the problematic conversation, during which they have tried to answer the question “Are there the civil society and the legal state in Ukraine?”. During the roundtable Anastasia Banakh revealed the nature and characteristics of the a legal state, and Dmitro Bystrytsky in his speech analyzed the essential characteristics of a civil society. Determining ways of forming a civil society and a legal state students were involved to the discussion about the legal problems in Ukrainian. In conclusion, the senior pupils watched the video about the Law Institute, and Olena Makeeva gave them the information about the benefits of studying at NAU, the prestige of a lawyer profession that should be the formation of the legal sate in Ukraine.
