P. Bilenchuk has been engaged in practical, research and teaching work for over 40 years. He worked as the head of the office of the Museum of Forensics and Forensic Proving Ground, was an adjunct professor of forensics, teacher, senior lecturer, associate professor of forensics at the Ukrainian Academy of Internal Affairs. In 1983 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Thesis: "Predicting the behavior of the accused in the preliminary investigation" in the specialty 12.00.09. - criminal proceedings; prosecutorial supervision; judicial system; criminalistics; forensic examination.

P.D. Bilenchuk is the author of more than 600 scientific publications, patents, innovation proposals, bills and departmental regulations, including 16 monographs, 7 textbooks, 80 textbooks, more than 500 articles of abstracts, reviews. PD Bilenchuk has developed a number of original methods of research of material evidence, a new set of tools for computer research of psychophysiological features of the person in the field of justice, a set of scientific and technical means for actions in extreme situations, an investigative and odorological set for work with olfactory information, complex measuring square, research complex "Automated system of multilateral human research (ASBDL)", received a patent for a forensic line of the investigator; created electronic multimedia films "Genesis of Forensic Thought", "Hans Gross - a prominent figure in world forensics", "Investigative actions in extreme situations", prepared the first in Ukraine electronic multimedia textbook "Forensics", participated in the development of a number of laws of Ukraine services for minors "," On Combating Terrorism "and other regulations in the field of youth policy, municipal and administrative reforms, etc. He did internships and studied the experience of public authorities and law enforcement agencies of Great Britain, the Federal Republic of Germany, Moldova, Poland, USA, Canada, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tatarstan, Latvia, Georgia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, France and others. Now P.D.
