Candidate's dissertation «Essence and sequence of work with personal and material sources proving in criminal proceedings» in specialty 12.00.09 defended in 2009. From 01.09.2014 she is an Assistant professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Process. Lancedova Yulia is the author and co-author of more than 200 scientific and educational works, received recognition not only in Ukraine but also abroad.
Many times Yulia Lancadov's writings were published abroad - in the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Slovakia and other countries. Among the scientific works of Lancedova Yulia is the monograph «Personal and Relevant Source of Anti-Criminal Information (Concept, Classification, Legal Regulation)», «The Essence and Classification of Actions for Receiving and Forms of Operation by Evidence in Anti-Criminal Proceedings», and others, the courses in lectures on criminalistics, criminal process and actual problems of jurisprudence, other teaching aids.
She is the author of the section of the collective monograph «Human security in the context of globalization: modern legal paradigm», published in 2017 in Slovakia; scientific article «Polynuchnaya essence of criminology in the new classification of legal sciences», published in a foreign peer-reviewed publication, which is quoted in the global international scientific-mathematical database «Scopus»; a number of scientific articles in the international scientific databases of Index Copernicus International, etc.
The scientific interests consist in the development and testing of innovative understanding of the classification of legal sciences, the essence and prospects of the development of their individual groups; the professionalism, balance and adequacy of powers of the subjects of power; the essence of the sequence and other patterns of work with subjective, objective and mixed sources of antidelictual information; the basic and additional basic legal properties of evidence; the subjects, the essence and the list of actions and other procedures for obtaining evidence and observance of the procedure of the proceedings.
